Fr. Peter McHugh O.S.A.
The manual is a gem, clear in its instructions regarding use, with plenty of room for witnessing based on personal experience. It should produce much fruit.
Trish Latimer (Editor of “Face to Face”, the CCR magazine for Brisbane.)
I have read through the Catholics “Come Alive” Manual and it is indeed excellent. It seems to cover everything that we, in the Renewal, wish to say about our Seminars and about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit etc. WOW!!!
You have certainly done a wonderful job.
Jenny McCormack (Former president of CCR Brisbane for many years, and currently vice-president.)
As Catholics we all search for a deeper understanding of the riches of our faith. This manual is a tremendous tool for our Catholic Church to come alive. I commend you Roger on the contents of this manual which is well grounded in Scripture and Church Teaching. Thank you for your efforts to help others experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Well done indeed!
Rosa Montegrande (Founder of Women of “The Way” and Coordinator for Mothers Prayers Queensland)
I found the Catholics “Come Alive” Manual to be informative, encouraging and inspiring.
It gives us insights on how to grow in our faith. The explanations in the book are grounded by the many references to Sacred Scripture and the Catholic Catechism. Through Roger’s personal sharing we come to understand that a personal relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is desirable and possible for everyone.
This manual reveals God’s love for us and shows us ways to live in the fullness of His love.
Every home would be blessed by having a copy of the Catholics “Come Alive” book.
Allan Panozza (Executive Director of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Melbourne, and former President of ICCRS – 2000 to 2007)
It is an informative but copious document, and will certainly be of great assistance to people who are working through Catholics “Come Alive”.
The information which it contains forms a valuable guide and companion to the book, and is a most interesting and informative document in its own right.
Participants will find the Seminar Manual to be of practical use in interpreting how Catholic doctrine together with Scriptural reference can lead to a deeper understanding of how the Holy Spirit engages us in the revelation of New Life which Jesus brings. I congratulate you on the excellent work.
